On January 14, 2023, the second Ideas Exhibition opened as scheduled at the UNESCO Palace in Beirut in the presence of the Minister of Industry, Mr. George Bouchkian, the Minister of Labor, Mr. Mustafa Bayram, a representative of the Minister of Culture, Mr. Ziad Baydoun, the President of the Lebanese University, Dr. Bassam Badran, the representative of the Army Commander, General Johnny Akl, and former ministers Freej Sabounjian and Imad Hoballah, representative Adnan Traboulsi, Secretary of the National Council for Agricultural Research, Professor Tamara Al-Zein, heads of associations, general directors, industrialists, lawyers, pharmacists, and doctors, and businessmen.
The program contained a speech for the Director of the Scientific Center for Manufacturing and Production, Dr. Amine Al-Sahili, the Minister of Labor, Mr. Mustafa Bayram, the Minister of Industry, Mr. George Bouchkian, representing the Minister of Culture, Mr. Ziad Baydoun, the owner of Amaco, Mr. Ali Al-Abdullah. After that, The director of the Accelerator department at the center, Dr. Wissam Khalil, presented and explained the stages the participants will go through from the first step until choosing the winning project.
Then, the attendees embarked on a guided tour in the university's courtyard, where they paused to examine each panel showcasing a summary of the presented ideas. The tour was enriched by detailed explanations provided by the candidates for ministers, industrialists, and all interested parties. This interactive tour allowed for deeper engagement and understanding of the showcased projects.
