Under the patronage of the Minister of Labor and Industry, and in collaboration with the Union of Arab Chambers, the Scientific Center for Manufacturing and Production proudly hosted its fifth Startup Weekend Support event at the Union of Arab Chambers in Beirut on April 20, 2024.
75 ideas applied to this program distributed as follows: 18 ideas for Beirut, 20 ideas from Mount Lebanon, 7 ideas from South Lebanon, 6 ideas from Nabatieh, 4 ideas from Bekaa, 5 ideas form Baalback – Hermel, 7 ideas from North Lebanon, and 8 ideas from Akkar.
43% of these ideas were classified in the mobile application / artificial intelligence field, 21% in the health field, 17% agrifood, 14% business, and 5% technology.
