A delegation from the Scientific Center for Manufacturing and Production visited the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). The delegation consisted of the General Director of the Center, Dr. Daoud Naoufal, Mr. Ali Chehimi and Ms. Fatima Halal, and they met the General Secretary of the Council, Dr. Tamara Al-Zein. The meeting began with an introduction by Dr. Naoufal, in which he presented a quick overview of the center, its objectives, and the work mechanism in its departments (accelerator, technology broker, research), as the center has prepared more than 55 executable study and presentation of the factories established by the center. Dr. Naoufal explained the new strategy for the upcoming Ideas Exhibition, which will be titled: Technology in the Service of Sectors.
Dr. Tamara Al-Zein welcomed the delegation’s visit and expressed her interest to cooperate, from continuous training of employees to prepare researches, to providing the Center with all the official information it needs to conduct accurate studies, to proposing a partnership between the two centers in order to finance innovative ideas.
In conclusion, Dr. Tamara El-Zein thanked the delegation for its visit, and the two parties confirmed full coordination in order to achieve success, cooperation and partnership between them.
The National Center for Scientific Research was invited to participate in the seminar organized by the Center at the end of June, titled "The Reality of Industry in Lebanon: Problems and Solutions."
